"Hey there, my name is Dakota Mullins and I became a massage therapist for a couple reasons. I'm a very hands on person who has been massaging family members and friends since young. My mom is a big reason I chose this line of work. I wanted to aid her in her unique healing methods and work by her side. Because of her I became certified in Myofascial Release. It's the main thing that she has come across to really help with her years of back pain. Myofascial Release is my favorite modality. It's safe and gentle but also very effective. It's something I hope everyone tries at least once.
Unlike the previously gentle modality, I am also trained in giving heavy pressure. I graduated from Georgia Massage School where they taught us to use low height tables in order to use our body weight to create more pressure. With deep tissue work, slight discomfort may occur especially if I am working out trigger points, but it will never be more than you can handle. Rest assured, if there is any continuing discomfort following the massage, use a heat pack or epsom salt bath to ease and relax the muscles.
My goal is to ultimately help your body heal itself.”
